IX & Peering
Direct connection to the internet
Connect your network directly to leading Internet Exchanges via our own AS209675. Lower latency, better routing and reduced transit costs.
Own AS number
We operate AS209675 with direct connections to AMS-IX and NL-IX for optimal routing.
RPKI & IRR filtering
Full RPKI validation and IRR filtering included as standard for maximum route security.
Multiple IXes
Connections to AMS-IX, NL-IX and other European Internet Exchanges available.
Low latency
Direct IX connections reduce hop counts and significantly lower latency.
NOC support
Our Network Operations Centre monitors your peering sessions 24/7 and responds immediately to issues.

Frequently asked questions
What is an Internet Exchange (IX)?
+An Internet Exchange is a physical interconnect point where networks (ISPs, CDNs, cloud providers) connect directly with each other. This reduces latency, lowers transit costs and improves routing performance.
Do I need my own ASN?
+Yes, you need your own Autonomous System Number (ASN) to peer. We can assist you in applying for an ASN through RIPE NCC if you do not have one yet.
Which IXes are available?
+We offer connectivity at AMS-IX (Amsterdam) and NL-IX. For Enterprise packages, other European IX locations are also available. Contact us for the current list.
How long does setup take?
+After receiving all required information (ASN, prefixes, peering policy), a standard peering session is typically active within 2-5 business days.
What is the difference between public and private peering?
+Public peering takes place via a shared IX fabric where multiple networks are connected. Private peering is a direct connection between two specific networks, offering more control and dedicated bandwidth.
